Your guide briefs you on the morning's adventure and the history of African elephant-back safaris. ⏰ 07:30 — Arrive at Elephant Camp Welcome drink and orientation at a private elephant camp on the outskirts of Victoria Falls. Meet the elephants and their mahouts (handlers). Each elephant has been trained using compassionate, reward-based methods. Learn their names, ages, and personalities. ⏰ 08:00 — Safety Briefing & Mounting Professional handlers demonstrate how to mount and dismount safely. You'll ride in a comfortable saddle positioned behind the elephant's shoulders — the most stable position on these gentle giants. Two guests per elephant. ⏰ 08:15 — The Elephant Ride Set off through the African bush at a gentle walking pace. The elevated vantage point offers a completely unique perspective: • Towering above the mopane and acacia woodlands • Panoramic views across the bushveld • Wildlife often undisturbed by elephant presence — zebra, giraffe, and antelope continue grazing nearby • Your mahout points out birds, tracks, and interesting flora ⏰ 09:15 — Dismount & Reward the Elephants Feed the elephants their favourite treats as a thank-you. Incredible photo opportunities with your elephant. ⏰ 09:30 — Bush Breakfast Full English breakfast served at the camp's restaurant overlooking a waterhole. Fresh coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit. ⏰ 10:30 — Return Transfer Drive back to Victoria Falls, arriving by 11:00. 📌 Important: Weight limit 100kg per person. Suitable for ages 10+.
